Steinberg stated that modernization and globalization have made the transition from adolescence to adulthood longer and increasingly more discontinuous.  Do you disagree with current theories on adolescence?

• Discuss specific examples that are relative to current societal trends that are impacting a transition out of adolescence.

Conduct research related to ethnicity and adolescent family involvement.  Use an article to highlight culture or family and teenage interactions. Be sure to copy the link to your article in your discussion so that others may view it. How do different cultures rear adolescents in comparison to our culture here in the United States? How did your interactions with your parents compare to the research you identified?
