Many of the plays center around the concept of family

A majority of theplays and poems are centered around the family concept, where they discuss the importance of family and its role in society. An example is the “World Is Too Much with Us” by Shakespeare, which explores modernity and how it has eroded people’s connection to nature. However, in the poem, it is apparent that individuals from families, which then include society.  According to the poem, there has been a change in how individuals have abandoned nature and, consequently, society.

From “Let me not to the marriage of true minds (Sonnet 116)”, Shakespearealso tries to clarify the relationship between marriage and true minds.  In the poem “to my dear and loving husband by Anne Bradstreet”, the concept of family is addressed, where it talks about married love between man and wife. It proposes that such love has a potenteffect on the two people involved. The poem suggests that love is unified, a clear depiction of what family should be all about.

In most of the pieces, therefore, family is raised, where it is defined as a pillar in the society that supports individuals and helps them live in the world happily.  It is manifest that family has a positiveinfluenceon theseworks. This is since most of the authors address issuesthat have been due to the successes of theirfamily unity. The family also positively influencesthese works sinceeveryone is a product of a given family either in its structures or even when it is broken.
