Think about the way the media cover political events of the three branches of the federal government: executive, legislative, and judicial.

1. Which branch do you think gets the most coverage? Which the least?

2. Are you satisfied with this balance of coverage?

How might you as a classroom teacher collaborate with the art teacher, the music teacher, and the physical education teacher to study other cultures? Give some examples of how you might combine music with social studies and language arts units in studying other cultures.
